The Funkie Junkie Boutique Challenge #15 Fall Gratitude; I'm doing a Guest Designer spot once again, with "Yes, Even Mr. Bones! "

     I
'm terribly sorry for this being a day late- the fault of which is my own. I simply lost track of which day it was to post. I've not felt well again this week, and the toll it's taken on my Summer, and now into Fall... I really want a do-over! My humblest apologies to the FJB Challenge Blog Design Team, and to all the followers as well. I'm usually a late type of person, but I've never lost track of it the way I did with this week. But, here it is; such as it is.

While it may look as if I also lost track of the theme for this TFJB Challenge #15; Fall Gratitude, the opposite is true. Yes, it looks a bit "Halloweeny", but the explanation behind it is simple, and right in line with the theme. I'm speaking strictly on my own here, when I say that my Faith is what I am grateful for as someone who has done multiple wrongs in my life, and I am far from proud of that. Those wrongs are what The Bible describes as "sins", and The Bible also says that "There is not one person who has not sinned- no not one,". I'm definitely included in that. And there are always things in our past that we'd all rather not dredge back up. Every single person in the Human race has at least one "skeleton in the closet". The closet is kept tightly locked and hidden...or so we think. But there is One who knows all about what is in that closet, and it neither surprises Him, nor repels Him from loving us. In fact; GOD doesn't even care what we've done in our past; it's our own doing that keeps those skeletons there. Many times over, I have given it all over to The LORD, only to open that closet, and take back those skeletons in thinking I could do something to make it right again- make those skeletons no longer exist. But, alas, I can't do that. Only GOD can. And He does: just by my asking. And I am GRATEFUL. More than any words can say. I try to show my gratefulness each new day. Sometimes, I do better, but more times that not; I don't. I just humble myself, and ask GOD to help me all over again- and keep trying to get it right. But those skeletons... they're of no more worry to me because GOD's got this!

I started out with this book box that was a purchase sometime before the Covid-19 struck.

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge... Guest Designer Spot Week #2: Autumn/Fall Colors From A Mood Board... Discoveries of Fall!

I'm back with Week #2 for Guest Designer at SIMON SAYS STAMP! Last week's blackout of Facebook, and most of it's fellow apps, interrupted my posting of Week #1, but I'm hoping things will go much smoother with this one! THANKS to everyone who stuck with it and managed to pop in and take a look! It's been a wild couple of weeks here in our house with several travels that took us in the northerly direction; Red Wing, Minnesota, and then this past week; South Haven and St. Joseph in Michigan. In between those trips, we also had gatherings for both sides of our families. This woman is pooped, but there's more to come as we move further into October.

Ahhhh, but OCTOBER! I'm definitely a summer person by heart, but by birth; I'm a Pumpkin Girl- born in mid-October on the very first Sweetest Day! *gush* Out of all our Kids and Grands born in the Spring, only one shares the Fall birthday with the ChiefHubby and I... Littlest Man, Jamie, was born in mid-November. And that's kind of fitting since his Parents are literally addicted to Halloween.  Fall is my third favorite season only because it means Summer is over. But, the colors and feel of Fall is something I'd miss if I weren't born in Indiana. While the years are different, the smells, feels, sights, and (for those of you who can hear) sounds of Fall- those familiar things that never change. The SSS Monday Challenge Design Team put together a Mood Board showing photos of these, giving us a choice of what to base our "Autumn/Fall Colors" theme on.

I chose one photo out of all, and yet, ended up making a match to almost all of the photos on the
Mood Board. Whatever you choose to make: let your senses guide you! I used our recent trips to Minnesota and Michigan, to help me round out my make, So without further ado....Here we go!!

Featured items can be found listed at the end of this posting.

Being inspired doesn't take going out of your city, state, etc. You can get inspired by taking a walk, or visiting a downtown and window shopping the storefronts, or as easy as surfing the makes as they list on the SSS Monday Challenge: Autumn/Fall Colors with a Mood Board site. The Lead Design Team has kicked it off with their always-awesome makes to get you started, and  I hope I have also helped inspire you! I sharing a few pics below to help with it...

You'll notice that even as it was already October in these photos, the leaves don't have to change color for you to FEEL that Fall feeling! The sky with the lowered sun towards the South, and the grass showing a slow-down of growth. The biggest giveaway: PUMPKINS!
