The Funkie Junkie Boutique Challenge #5; Anything Goes.... Eileen Hull Dies; Camping Album 1

                            It's BAAAAAACK!!!

When The Funkie Junkie Boutique Challenge Blog decided to take a Spring Break, I chose to do the same. And now that they're back- and BETTER THAN EVER- with new Designers as well as more stock of my beloved Tim Holtz items....I'm back in the game also! April and May took a huge toll on me and at this very writing, I am battling some kind of URI (Upper Respiratory Infection) just as we got back from the first camping trip of 2021. I finally was able to get the COVID19 Vaccine after a long, lonely, 14 months of staying away from others (except my own close family members) and stores, businesses, etc. WOW: does it feel GOOD to get back out there !!!! And since I've been thinking on it for some time now, I chose to really dig deep into the house here in Indiana and PURGE the entire place! EVERY drawer, closet, as well as furniture or knick-knack, received a choice of A) toss to recycle, B) toss to the burn pile, C) give away, or D) refurbish/clean/reuse/rearrange. And it took all of two full weeks. Every single thing got the choices and the ChiefHubby was VERY generous in meeting me halfway by allowing me to purchase whatever was needed to make my dream décor into real Primitive Americana- right down to the window treatments (which I sewed myself from a huge bolt of lovely unbleached muslin. I've always tried to keep the decor to that same line, but you know how it goes...things just end up piled up here and there and before you know it, your style automatically becomes "eclectic" of what you aimed for. It feels SO GOOD to have that all done- but it was VERY TOUGH to do that Craft Studio !!! I had to ask the ChiefHubby to pray for me to have strength during that part- which was saved for last. That room alone coughed up 5 heavy duty large trash bags that got burned in the fire pit. More than 2 steering-wheel-to-tailgate truckloads when to the local donation Christian-run store. And now I can see the floor and have a lot more space. Don't worry- the burn stuff was just piles and piles of keepsake items that never got crafted. No waste there.
Speaking of cough.... I must get this out for deadline...I must cut to the chase. No "How To" this time because I was actually doing that while camping with all our Besties: showing them how to use the Eileen Hull ( Eileen Hull- Designer ) dies of Folio and Camper. But, I am including a set of front and back photos of their resulting campers following my own make here of the camper into a photo album: my first! So here we go!

                                                     The Besties working...

THANKS to the Besties who crafted with me- especially Susan; I didn't mean to keep us until 8pm!!

The best parts are now BACK again: Random $25n GC from
                                                               The Funkie Junkie Boutique

And a chance to be a Guest Designer for TFJB Challenge Blog!

And......just like that:

The Princess turned 2 years old and is deeply dependent on the color pink,
and knows that girls can definitely have- almost a requirement- more than one pair of shoes,
as well as more than one kind of hairpin!

Oldest Grandchild, Peanut, graduated from his first year of PreSchool

... he absolutely loved getting to dress up on theme days during the last week;
he even shared the spotlight with his Sissy...

Memaw got to finally go back up north to Red Wing and spend 2 weeks with Baby Pecan...

...who also graduated; to the Toddler Class!
And yes, it made this Memaw cry. C'mon, folks, that last baby always rips your heart out
by just getting bigger. And I wouldn't change anything because it means they
are growing! And this youngest one is picking up at the pace of 3 inches from
the end of January to the middle of April !!
(Have you ever noticed how many Strawberry-Blonde kids have the name JAMIE?!
That's a free plug for ya, Netflix- "Highlander"!!)

That catches us all up from here.
There will be more crafty posts coming this way as Challenges pick up steam,
so I hope everyone will pop back in to take a peek !
Meanwhile, I'll be resting in bed, hopeful that my Doctors will get back to us
with results/meds to get this going away.
*smirk* Figures; beat that COVID19 for over a year only
to get done in by regular Flu/Pneumonia/Bronchitis (I'm putting my bet on that last one).

SEE YOU SOON!
HAPPY BLOGGING!!!

It sounds like you made a heroic effort in getting organised and de-stashed Lyla, particularly since you've been suffering too. I'm so glad everything is feeling much more positive now. And I love that not only did you make a wonderful camper tag book with Eileen's dies, you also showed your besties how to make their own. Getting to craft along with friends is just the best ever. Thank you for joining us at The Funkie Junkie Boutique challenge again x
